Introduction of Profenofos 50% EC
Profenofos is a compound with molecular formula of C11H15BrClO3PS and molecular weight of 373.63. It is a light yellow transparent liquid.
It is used to control a variety of pests of cotton, vegetables, fruit trees and other crops, especially the antagonistic cotton bollworm.
Probromophos has contact and stomach toxic effects and acts rapidly. It is still effective for cotton pests resistant to other organic phosphorus and pyrethroids. It is an effective agent for the control of resistant cotton bollworm. In areas with resistance, it can be mixed with other pyrethroid or organic phosphorus insecticides, which will give greater play to the efficacy of Profenofos .
