Product Introduction
Ortho phenylenediamine ‘s property description: A colorless monoclinic crystal that darkens in color in air and sunlight. Melting point 102-103 ℃, boiling point 256-258 ℃. Slightly soluble in cold water, more soluble in hot water, and easily soluble in ethanol, ether, and chloroform. Reacts with inorganic acids to form water-soluble salts.
Ortho phenylenediamine ‘s synthesis method: Using ortho nitroaniline as raw material, ortho phenylenediamine is obtained by sodium sulfide reduction method or catalytic hydrogenation reduction method. Add 21% sodium sulfide solution and ortho nitroaniline into the reduction pot, heat up to 90 ℃, seal and heat up to 105-110 ℃, increase the pressure to 0.1-0.2MPa, stir for 5 hours, cool down to below 40 ℃, and filter. Heat and melt the filter cake, perform vacuum distillation, and collect the fraction at 140-210 ℃ (7.89kPa) to obtain o-phenylenediamine with a yield of 70-80%. The hydrogenation process is carried out in a high-pressure reactor at a reaction temperature of 95-105 ℃ and a pressure of about 2MPa. Under the action of a nickel catalyst, the hydrogenation reaction is carried out for about 1 hour until the hydrogen pressure does not decrease. The yield of ortho phenylenediamine is over 97%.
Ortho phenylenediamine ‘s usage: This product is an intermediate for dyes, pesticides, additives, photosensitive materials, etc. It is a dye with fur yellow brown M. Used for manufacturing polyamides, polyurethanes, fungicides such as carbendazim and tobuzen, reducing scarlet GG, leveling agents, anti-aging agents MB, as well as for preparing developing agents, surfactants, etc.
