Introduction
Chlorothalonil, also known as 2,4,5,6-tetrachloro-1,3-phenylenenitrile, with molecular formula of C8Cl4N2, is a broad-spectrum protective bactericide. Chlorothalonil can interact with glyceraldehyde triphosphate dehydrogenase in fungal cells and combine with the protein containing cysteine in the enzyme, so as to destroy the enzyme activity and destroy the metabolism of fungal cells. Chlorothalonil has no internal absorption and conduction effect, but after spraying on the plant, it can have good adhesion on the body surface and is not easy to be washed away by rain, so the efficacy period is long.
